We love treasure hunting. Unfortunately, from its inception centuries or millenia ago, this exciting endeavor essentially only exists whenever an eccentric multimillionaire decides to have a little bit of fun with their riches. Now, don’t get us wrong — we support and seriously appreciate all legitimate treasure hunts, and you’ll even catch us referencing some famous ones from time to time.
But are we crazy for believing that compelling treasure hunts should be available 24/7/365, like streaming content? Maybe so. Either way, our goal is to completely redefine treasure hunting for the 21st century.
The starting point for achieving that goal is an ever-expanding database of unique and entertaining digital and physical treasure hunts with significant cash rewards. So instead of binging the next mind-numbing streaming series, put your mind and body to work, and perhaps take home some treasure for your efforts!

Preview the Hunts
EXPLORE ACTIVE HUNTSCheck out our active hunts (or solved hunts for reference) and find one, or several, that appeal to you based on the offered reward, solve deadline, type of hunt, preview materials, etc. We will continue to offer new styles and methodologies to appeal to as many treasure hunters as possible.

Purchase Materials & Solve ID
PURCHASE ACCESSPurchase access to a specific hunt to get everything you need, including all materials and your Unique Solve ID (which is required to submit solves). Here’s another key point to keep in mind: the access fee for each hunt increases as time goes on and the hunt remains unsolved, so lock in your access early.

Submit a Solve
SUBMIT A SOLVEOnce you have worked your way to a potential solution (or have found a hidden physical item), submit your solve before someone else beats you to it! Get your Unique Solve ID and solve keywords ready, and then navigate to the appropriate hunt “Solve” page to submit your solve.
THE SOLVE GUARANTEE
We could pretend the thrill of the hunt is enough — that the treasure isn’t a significant factor in the treasure hunting experience — but let’s not kid ourselves. So here’s the deal:
We are aiming to build the greatest treasure hunting platform and community in the world. We can only do that by fully securing your trust, and we can only achieve that by offering a steady stream of compelling and diverse treasure hunts with full transparency.
Perhaps most critical to that transparency is our unique “Solve Guarantee,” which ensures that every treasure hunt we offer is member-solved within a preset timeframe. This means that none of our hunts will ever go unsolved (or take many years or decades to solve). Instead, we will push out clues to the entire community as the solve deadline approaches, until a successful solve occurs. So stay aware!

Physical Hunts
Use the provided hunt materials to find clues that will lead you to a physical location where the treasure can be found. In order to ensure rapid “call off the hunt” alerts can be sent out to the rest of the community, our physical treasures are typically containers holding redemption instructions.

Digital Hunts
Similar to traditional hunts, except that upon successfully completing the solve, you are not required to go out and physically locate any treasure. If you are the first member to submit the correct solve, you instantly win the treasure, no boots on the ground (or “BOTG”) required.

Combination Hunts
Some of our hunts will offer optional BOTG elements that are helpful — but not necessary — to solve, like clue packages or partial solves. Think of these elements as potential shortcuts on an alternate path to securing the reward that may prove fruitful (or perhaps may not!).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What skills or experience must I possess?
None! We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again: our goal is to offer something totally new and unique by blending traditional treasure hunting methods and concepts with our own special sauce. We aim to challenge and reward members of all skill and practice levels. That being said, we also encourage investigation and knowledge-acquisition at all turns, so it’s never too early to start exploring an unfamiliar cipher-application technique, or learning about some famous treasure hunts from the past!
For BOTG hunts, what exactly am I searching for?
Great question! Our physical “treasures” will typically be in the form of a redemption code or solve key (think small container that can hold a paper scroll). This ensures that we are notified upon its successful location and can call off the hunt for everyone else as soon as practical. We will never bury anything that is meant to be found, so you should never dig up or otherwise disturb any land for any reason.
Is all of your content original and/or unique?
Yes! Our small creative team — led by Nails, our Chief Hunting Officer — conceptualizes and creates all of our treasure hunts. A note here on AI since it seems appropriate in this day and age: We do occasionally use AI as a limited and supplemental resource, and you are of course free to use AI as a tool to attempt to solve any of our hunts. (Though we are pretty confident in our ability to make our solves effectively immune to AI!)
Can I share hunt materials?
You are welcome to share treasure hunt materials as you see fit. The Unique Solve ID you receive when you purchase access to a specific hunt, however, is tied to the individual user and is only valid for solve attempts submitted by that user. Carefully consider who you decide to share your materials and Unique Solve ID with, as there are certain guidelines that must be followed pertaining to their use. (You can read more about this in our terms of service.)
You are also free to work with others and/or share elements of any solve you are working on. Just remember — only the first person (i.e., the individual account holder) to submit the correct solve with a valid Unique Solve ID will be legally entitled to the reward; so carefully consider what you share, and with whom.
We are working on a feature that will allow you to officially team up with other members, either globally for a set period of time, or on an individual hunt basis. Until then, we are unable to enforce any reward-sharing agreements you decide to make on your own.
How do I know this is all legit?
Some measured skepticism is always healthy in the world of treasure hunting! The best we can hope to do (at least for some people) is earn some skepticism-depreciation over time. And we have taken a variety of measures and actions — both visible and behind the scenes — to do just that. At the very least, through our content, we hope that you can see and feel our passion and commitment to our mission.
What is next for TREASUREFIX?
Take a seat, because we have big plans! The most exciting part of this endeavor for us is that the content-creation possibilities expand exponentially with the growth of our treasure hunting community. An early target as our user base grows will be localized “flash” hunts where, on short notice, you will be tasked with finding a treasure, perhaps in your own hometown or a nearby city.
In the digital realm, we are super excited about the video content we are working on (that is our professional background, after all). Think surveillance footage to review and assess, murder mysteries, maybe even some cooking segments with Nails!
Down the road, we are thinking even bigger within the context of our professional background and connections. Imagine going to the movie theater (or your smart TV) to watch a new feature film; only instead of just watching and enjoying the film, you are gathering clues in search of the film’s associated treasure.
