An "Elimination" Hunt! This is an 8-round hunt that will start with 100 hunters (no more, no less). Correctly eliminate the chest(s) based on the clues provided to move on to the next round. Prior to the final round, remaining hunters will vote to decide whether the reward is "(first) winner take all" or to be split evenly amongst all correct final round entries. Do you have the skills and knowledge to last?

Solve Instructions: Each round, you will submit the number(s) of the chest(s) you would like to eliminate (separate multiple with spaces or commas).

Solve Restrictions: Each Unique Solve ID is valid for one (1) solve attempt per round of the hunt

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Keyword (aka Digital) Solves

    1. You may omit any articles (e.g., “a,” “an,” “the,” etc).
    2. Keywords are not case-sensitive, but may include proper nouns.
    3. If any portion of your solve includes a person, use the person’s last name (surname) as the keyword (e.g., “George Washington” would be entered as “WASHINGTON” or “Washington” or “washington”).
    4. If the person, place, title, thing (etc.) is most commonly known by a multi-word name or descriptor, submit that keyword as a single word without spaces (e.g., the Lakota war leader “Crazy Horse” would be entered as “CRAZYHORSE” or “crazyhorse”; the film “Pulp Fiction” would be entered as “PULPFICTION” or “pulpfiction”).
    5. Our system is designed to accept multiple forms/variations as correct where any potential ambiguity exists, so don’t stress out around the margins if you are struggling to decide on the “correct” submission form for a particular keyword.
    6. You will only be notified if your solve is verified to be correct in full (i.e., you will not receive any feedback on correct/incorrect portions, so don’t bother asking!).

  • “BOTG” (aka Physical) Solves

    1. Physical items will never be hidden in a location that is dangerous to access or arrive at. Additionally, items will never be hidden in a location that requires water travel (e.g., swimming or traveling by raft, canoe, boat, etc.) to access or arrive at.
    2. You will never need to trespass or engage in illegal activity of any kind to access or arrive at the location of any hidden physical items. If you are engaging in illegal activity, or even thinking about it, you are not on the right path.
    3. No physical items will ever be buried under the ground. You will never need to dig up or otherwise disturb any land in any way, under any circumstances.
    4. Be mindful of the presence of wildlife (bears, snakes, etc.) and hunters in any search area, and be mindful of your own physical limitations. We cannot practically cover all scenarios here, just use sound judgment at all times when it comes to when, where, and how you decide to go looking for hidden physical items. Search with a buddy whenever possible, avoid dangerous conditions, and bring plenty of water.
    5. Search areas are currently limited to locations within the continental United States.
